Coordinator, Marketing & Communication Services

Smithbucklin, an employee-owned professional services company, is seeking an experienced **Marketing & Communications Coordinator** for our Washington, D.C. or Chicago office, with hybrid work options. Join our Marketing & Communications Services unit to support client organizations with comprehensive marketing and communication strategies. You'll contribute to a culture driven by optimism, ambition, expertise, and thoughtfulness. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement marketing plans, including budgeting and production schedules. * Create marketing collateral, website content, email campaigns, and social media updates. * Manage email distribution, monitor analytics (e.g., click-through rates), and track budgets. * Coordinate work streams for junior team members. * Identify industry affiliation opportunities to support client objectives. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience. * 3+ years of professional experience in marketing communications. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Tech-savvy with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. * Proven ability to self-start, work in a team, and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. * Working knowledge of marketing processes, social media platforms, and proficiency with MS Office Suite. * Basic understanding of HTML for web updates is a plus. * Agency and/or association management experience preferred. **Compensation (Expected Pay Range):** * Washington, DC: $64,000 - $68,000 * Chicago: $61,000 - $65,000 **Additional Details:** * Hybrid work option (2 days work from home). * Ability to travel up to 10%. * Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States; Smithbucklin does not sponsor work visas.
