Job Description
Seeking a Content Manager to create, edit, and manage digital content and website for a manufacturing workforce non-profit.
The Manufacturing Institute (MI) seeks a dynamic Content Manager to craft compelling communications and manage digital content, advancing our mission to strengthen the manufacturing workforce.
**What You'll Do:**
* Develop and execute engaging content across diverse channels: newsletters, articles, blogs, web pages, and social media.
* Write and edit short-form content highlighting workforce insights, program milestones, and stakeholder engagement opportunities.
* Manage MI's social media content strategy, creating original copy and repurposing existing content to extend reach.
* Maintain and update the MI website, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and identifying content improvement areas.
* Manage a regular newsletter publishing schedule.
* Execute content rollout plans for new research, announcements, and major initiatives.
* Utilize analytics to measure digital tactic reach and evaluate campaign performance.
* Coordinate with affiliate teams to ensure brand alignment.
**What You'll Bring:**
* 3-5 years of experience in communications, content writing, and/or digital communications, with a strong writing portfolio.
* Proficient writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and tone consistency.
* Experience updating and managing website content (ideally WordPress) and identifying content gaps.
* Knowledge of various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube) and management tools (Sprout, HubSpot).
* Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and inform content strategy.
* Familiarity with basic graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva).
* Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, and customer service acumen.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook); HubSpot and Asana a plus.
**Salary Range:** $71,731 - $80,000 annually.
