Communications & Marketing Director

Tetra Tech seeks a strategic Director of Communications and Marketing to elevate its International Energy Services practice globally. Reporting to senior leadership, this role involves shaping communication strategies, executing marketing initiatives, managing internal platforms, and leading a dedicated team. International travel may be required.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Strategic Communications:** Develop and oversee communication plans with senior leadership and project teams. Produce diverse communication products (fact sheets, videos, presentations, infographics, blogs). Advise technical staff on best practices, ensure client branding compliance, and mentor communications staff.
• **Global Marketing:** Drive external marketing strategies to strengthen Tetra Tech’s leadership in the energy sector. Create compelling content for corporate channels, leverage CRM tools, and execute integrated strategies for industry conferences and sponsorships. Manage marketing budgets and support business development, including proposal writing.
• **Internal Communications:** Support senior leadership with effective internal communications, including staff meetings, updates, and presentations. Manage content and engagement for internal platforms like intranets and knowledge repositories. Liaise with corporate headquarters for accurate information flow.
• **Team Leadership:** Directly manage a marketing specialist and an editor.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in international development, communications, and marketing.
• Proven experience implementing multi-audience communication campaigns.
• Experience with U.S. government-funded or other donor-funded development programs.
• Direct experience in the energy sector.
• Exceptional ability to create and present compelling content across digital, print, and social media channels.
• Proficiency with email newsletter platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Native fluency in English (reading, writing, and presentation).

• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express/Creative Suite) for infographics.
• Direct energy sector experience in developing countries or emerging markets.
• Fluency in Arabic, French, or Spanish.
