## Web Server Specialist (Intermediate Level)

• *Location:** County of Fairfax, VA
• *Duration:** Long-Term Contract

The County of Fairfax is seeking an Intermediate Web Server Specialist to manage, maintain, and support web and application servers. This role primarily focuses on Windows platforms and ASP.NET environments.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Install, configure, manage, and provide technical support for web servers, application servers, and other supported platforms.
• Maintain server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage user access security, encryption, and certificate management.
• *Required Skills & Experience (2-4 years):**
• Proficiency with Windows platforms and ASP.NET.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, XML, .NET 5+, C#, and Visual Studio .NET.
• Expertise in Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Experience with cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) across PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Networking knowledge.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Knowledge of API development and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
