Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN)

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead complex IT initiatives within a DevSecOps framework. This role involves strategic oversight of IT program budgets, technical requirements, product lifecycles, and acquisitions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage program-level IT budgets and financial oversight. * Define and oversee business and technical requirements for IT programs. * Direct the full IT product lifecycle within assigned programs. * Lead and manage IT acquisition processes. * Operate effectively within a DevSecOps methodology. **Required Qualifications:** * One year of specialized experience in IT program management, equivalent to a GS-13 level, preferably within VA OIT applying DevSecOps. * Must hold a Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM). * Demonstrated IT-related experience across the following core competencies: * **Attention to Detail:** Thoroughness and conscientiousness in all tasks. * **Customer Service:** Ability to assess needs, provide information, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively convey information, present clearly, and listen actively. * **Problem Solving:** Identify issues, evaluate information, generate alternatives, and make sound recommendations. * Relevant IT experience can be gained through paid work, volunteer efforts, or intensive training/certifications.
