Job Description

Seeking an experienced IT professional to lead information security compliance, strategy, and operations within a federal environment.
## Qualifications * **Application Deadline:** All requirements must be met by August 11, 2025. * **Time-in-Grade:** Federal employees applying for a GS-14 position must have 52 weeks of experience at the GS-13 level. SF-50 proof is required. ## Required Experience Candidates must possess IT-related experience demonstrating proficiency in all core competencies, including: * **Specialized Experience (GS-13 equivalent):** One year of experience applying IT principles, concepts, methods, and standards to: * Develop Department-level processes for information security compliance data collection and reporting. * Contribute to short and long-range information security strategic planning, ensuring compliance with Federal and Departmental policies. * Possess comprehensive knowledge of VA IT policies, Federal regulations, and industry information security standards related to compliance. * Understand DevOps goals, objectives, and evaluation methods for Information Assurance accomplishments. * Maintain in-depth knowledge of OIT organization, IT infrastructure, operations, and ITIL processes to direct teams and resolve complex national service delivery issues. ## Core Competencies (demonstrated through IT experience) * Attention to Detail * Customer Service * Oral Communication * Problem Solving
