The User Experience (UX) Research Operations team seeks a Senior Associate to elevate capabilities and mature practices, enabling high-quality, accessible design and research insights at scale.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, empowering researchers and designers to focus on high-impact work. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with integrated problem-solving skills, balancing daily operations with strategic initiatives to drive stakeholder value.
**What You'll Do:**
* **Process Optimization & Enablement:** Manage systems and logistics for research projects, creating and implementing process improvements for team efficiency.
* **Research Governance & Compliance:** Ensure high standards in ethics, privacy, and data protection across research and design projects.
* **Knowledge Management:** Develop a comprehensive library of research practices, resources, and templates for consistency.
* **Research Advocacy:** Introduce new methods to promote research throughout the organization.
* **Project Management:** Collaborate with Research and Design to understand needs and manage logistics for multiple projects.
**What You'll Need:**
* At least 2 years of experience in UX or Research Operations, project management, or process improvement.
* Direct experience working with Research or Design teams.
* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Systems thinking with a track record for establishing scalable practices.
* Strategic acumen to anticipate and solve complex cross-functional problems.
* Strong project management experience with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently, prioritizing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with research tools/vendors and panel management (a plus).
* 2+ years of experience managing risk in highly regulated research environments.
* 2+ years experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and data visualization tools (e.g., Confluence).

* **New York, NY:** $118,900 - $135,700
* **Richmond, VA:** $99,100 - $113,100
This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
