Principal Associate, User Experience Research Operations

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, User Experience Research Operations, to join the Experience Design (XD) team. This role is crucial for maturing research practices, building systems, and enabling high-quality design and research insights at scale. **Responsibilities:** * **Process Optimization:** Define and lead improvements to increase team efficiency and optimize research operations. * **Research Governance:** Champion ethics, privacy, and data protection standards across projects. * **Knowledge Management:** Develop and maintain a library of research practices, resources, and templates. * **Research Advocacy:** Evangelize research value and advance the Research Operations practice. * **Project Management:** Manage systems and logistics for multiple research projects, proposing scalable solutions. **Qualifications:** * At least 4 years of experience in UX or Research Operations, project management, or process improvement. * Direct experience working with Research or Design teams. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Systems thinking with a track record for establishing scalable design and research practices. * Strategic acumen and foresight to anticipate and solve complex cross-functional problems. * Excellent project management skills, committed to continuous improvement. * Experience with research tools and vendors (e.g., Jira, Confluence). * Ability to work autonomously and guide peers through ambiguity. * Experience managing risk within regulated research environments (4+ years preferred).
