## Manager, Card Executive Communications (Hybrid) Join our team as a strategic communications leader, shaping and executing comprehensive communication strategies for a senior executive within Capital One's Card division. This role is pivotal in driving organizational vision, fostering a strong team culture, and enhancing associate engagement through impactful internal communications. ### Responsibilities: * Develop and implement communications strategies that elevate the leader's brand and bring organizational narratives to life. * Curate engaging experiences, including leadership gatherings, all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling, and special events. * Serve as a strategic partner to executive communicators and chiefs of staff, planning and delivering effective internal communications. * Lead change management communications to support business initiatives. * Draft leader talking points and review presentations. * Provide expert counsel on business strategy, leadership profiles, issues management, and corporate initiatives. * Evaluate communication performance using metrics and feedback, recommending refinements for continuous improvement. * Collaborate with and influence internal partners to support business and employee interests. ### Key Skills & Attributes: * Strong business acumen and customer-orientation. * Exceptional judgment and ability to work autonomously. * Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex content into clear, engaging communications. * Experience managing issues, crisis communications, and organizational change. * Excellent time management and organizational skills, consistently executing multiple complex projects. * Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn and become a business expert. * A natural problem-solver, diplomat, creative thinker, and strategic project leader. ### Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience. * At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies for organizational change. ### Preferred Qualifications: * Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills. * Strong business acumen and executive presence; history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders. * Ability to distill complex content into clear, concise, and engaging communications. * Experience leveraging data to create and execute communication strategies, plans, programs, and events. ### Additional Information: * This is a hybrid role based in McLean, Virginia, or Richmond, Virginia. * Capital One will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position. * **Salary Ranges (Annual Full-Time):** * McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 * Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500 * Eligible for performance-based incentive compensation. * Comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive benefits package.
