Job Description
Protects healthcare information and medical devices within VA's IT infrastructure, specializing in cybersecurity and vulnerability management.
This role requires a dedicated cybersecurity and information assurance professional to protect healthcare information and medical devices within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) IT infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in enterprise security, vulnerability management, and secure architecture principles.
**Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
* Apply domain expertise in cybersecurity and information assurance, specifically within healthcare systems and data architectures.
* Utilize advanced knowledge of enterprise visibility, vulnerability management, and VA's global network enterprise operations.
* Implement robust cybersecurity architecture, enterprise vulnerability management, and software assurance design principles.
* Navigate Federal and VA's IT infrastructure and operations.
* Develop and implement cybersecurity metrics, secure architectures, policies, processes, and procedures.
* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Federal Information Technology Standards, DISA STIGS, SCAP, FDCC/USGCB.
* Work proficiently with key security products such as RSA Archer and Splunk.
* Adapt to changing technologies and implement secure authentication methods.
* Ensure Virtual Machine platform security and apply knowledge of VA-specific technologies and programs.
