IT Specialist (Appsw)

We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional to lead and manage complex information technology programs and product modernization efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in IT architecture and program management. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the coordinated management of IT programs, overseeing multiple projects, integrating schedules, and ensuring successful deliverables. * Apply advanced architectural methodologies to design, develop, and integrate information systems, understanding internal operations and system interactions. * Formulate and implement effective IT strategies, setting objectives, determining priorities, and anticipating potential threats or opportunities from a long-term perspective. **Required Qualifications:** * Extensive IT-related experience, including significant experience in the management and modernization of IT products/projects. * Demonstrated proficiency in the following core IT competencies: * **Information Technology Architecture:** Knowledge of methodologies for designing and developing information systems. * **Information Technology Program Management:** Expertise in the principles and tools for coordinated IT program oversight and governance. * **Strategic Thinking:** Ability to formulate effective strategies consistent with organizational objectives. * One year of specialized experience equivalent to a senior IT professional level. **Preferred Skills:** * Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies. * Familiarity with VistA and Commercial Health Information Exchange (HIE). *Note: Qualifying experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work.*
