Seeking an IT Specialist to develop and maintain MUMPS/VISTA software, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging applications.
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to develop and maintain critical software applications. This role requires proficiency in legacy systems and strong problem-solving skills. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain MUMPS and VISTA software applications. * Code, test, and debug VISTA applications to ensure functionality and reliability. **Required Qualifications:** * One year of specialized IT experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. * Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining MUMPS, specifically VISTA software applications. * Proven experience in coding, testing, and debugging VISTA applications. * IT-related experience demonstrating core competencies: * **Attention to Detail:** Thorough and conscientious in work. * **Customer Service:** Assess needs, provide solutions, and ensure quality service. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively convey information and listen actively. * **Problem Solving:** Identify issues, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations. **Additional Requirements (Federal Applicants):** * Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-12 for a GS-13 position). * All experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
