IT Project Manager

This role involves leading IT system lifecycle management and software development projects for a federal agency, overseeing technical teams, and managing related acquisitions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage comprehensive IT systems lifecycles, from acquisition and solutioning to development, deployment, sustainment, and decommissioning. * Direct efficient planning and operation of IT software development projects and products in both cloud and on-premise environments. * Oversee product teams utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies. * Manage budget, contracts, and acquisitions for all Primary Care Products. * Apply comprehensive knowledge of CPRS, VistA governance/admin, and VistA Infrastructure. **Required Experience & Qualifications:** * One year of specialized IT experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. * Proven experience in managing IT systems lifecycles. * Demonstrated ability to direct IT software development projects in diverse environments. * Experience managing highly technical, complex, and dispersed teams. * Expertise in overseeing Agile and DevOps methodology utilization. **Essential IT Competencies:** * **Attention to Detail:** Thorough and conscientious in work. * **Customer Service:** Assess needs, provide solutions, and ensure quality products/services. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively convey information and make clear presentations. * **Problem Solving:** Identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and make sound recommendations.
