IT Project Manager

Join our team as an experienced IT professional focusing on the development, integration, and management of critical VistA IT systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, and customer engagement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, and deploy IT systems primarily using MUMPS and/or Delphi. * Conduct in-depth requirements analysis, translating functional needs into precise technical specifications. * Lead and manage IT projects, including planning, scheduling, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of technical performance. * Maintain and enhance VistA Kernel, VistA governance, and VistA administration. * Provide exceptional customer service, resolving technical issues and assessing client needs. * Apply contracting and procurement principles for IT system acquisition and administration. **Required Qualifications:** * Minimum one year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-12) in software development, architecture, or related IT roles. * Extensive programming experience with MUMPS and/or Delphi. * Deep knowledge of VistA Kernel, VistA governance, VistA administration, and VistA Infrastructure. * Comprehensive proficiency with CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System). * Proven experience in: * Requirements analysis and technical design. * IT project management. * IT contracting/procurement. * Technical customer service. * Ability to develop, create, maintain, and code for complex VistA-based applications. * Experience in systems integration and the full software development lifecycle.
