Job Description
Seeking a policy specialist to coordinate, analyze, and develop anti-fraud and law enforcement policies across federal and state agencies.
This role involves developing, analyzing, and coordinating critical anti-fraud and law enforcement policies and programs within the federal government. You will contribute to national security initiatives through strategic policy work, inter-agency collaboration, and program evaluation.
**Key Responsibilities (May vary by grade level):**
* Coordinate and collaborate on anti-fraud and law enforcement policies, procedures, and systems.
* Develop concept papers and strategic documents to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Serve as a primary liaison, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external Department of Homeland Security entities, as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
* Evaluate and implement changes to regulatory or law enforcement programs.
* Conduct studies and research to resolve complex program challenges.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate briefings, information exchange programs, and working groups.
**Qualifications:**
* **GS-12 Level:** Requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating ability to:
* Coordinate anti-fraud and law enforcement check policies and operational aspects.
* Develop concept/position papers for policy and project enhancement.
* Liaise with various internal/external DHS entities on national policies.
* Evaluate new/proposed changes to regulatory or law enforcement programs.
* **GS-13 Level:** Requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, demonstrating ability to:
* Review and analyze anti-fraud and law enforcement policies and systems.
* Coordinate studies and research for advanced program problem resolution.
* Develop and maintain relationships with diverse federal, state, and local law enforcement stakeholders.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate briefings and information exchange programs.
* Coordinate task forces and working groups on behalf of the agency.
