Capital One is seeking a Data Analysis Manager to lead a team of data analysts, focusing on marketing and messaging operations. This role leverages advanced analytics to drive strategic decisions, enhance customer experience, and optimize business processes within a dynamic, data-centric environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior data analysts.
* Drive strategic initiatives by applying advanced analytical techniques to complex business challenges.
* Mine, analyze, and interpret vast, complex datasets (millions to billions of records) to extract critical insights.
* Develop and implement statistical models for data testing and validation.
* Identify and implement improvements in data processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies.
* Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate processes, product offerings, and marketing effectiveness.
* Consult on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.
### Qualifications:
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science) or related, OR Master's Degree.
* 6+ years of data analytics experience with a Bachelor's, OR 4+ years with a Master's (degree must be obtained by start date).
* 4+ years of professional data analysis work experience.
* 4+ years of programming experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
* 7+ years of professional data analysis work experience.
* 4+ years of experience with Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
* 1+ year of experience in people management.
* 1+ year of project management experience.
* 1+ year of experience with Tableau.
* Proficiency in utilizing and developing within AWS services.
* Strong Business Intelligence (BI) background.
* Excellent problem-solving, conceptual thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
