Job Description

Lead public policy research, assess findings, and manage teams to deliver authoritative, objective analysis for stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead critical public policy research, manage teams, and ensure the highest standards of analysis. **Key Responsibilities & Requirements:** * **Direct & Manage Public Policy Research Review:** Lead and contribute to the review of public policy analyses, ensuring accurate framing, credible alternatives, and adherence to quality standards for stakeholders like Congressional clients. * **Assess Research Credibility & Authoritativeness:** Apply in-depth knowledge of research standards to review written and recorded products, ensuring objectivity, nonpartisanship, and client needs are met. * **Lead People & Manage Workforce:** Oversee a multidisciplinary team, manage staffing, guide performance under tight deadlines, and foster a collegial environment. Includes recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and developing diverse staff. * Apply established standards to complex and evolving issues, exercising objectivity, impartiality, and confidentiality. * Communicate effectively verbally with peers, staff, managers, and external audiences, tailoring information to the receiver's needs.
