About Executive Office for United States Attorneys
Part of the Department of Justice, the Executive Office for US Attorneys (EOUSA) provides centralized policy development, administrative management direction and oversight, and operational support for US Attorneys. Serving as the nation's principal litigators and under the direction of the Attorney General, the DOJ's more than 90 US Attorneys' prosecute criminal cases brought by the Federal government, prosecute and defend civil cases in which the US is a party, and collect debts owed to the Federal government that are administratively uncollectible. The EOUSA also provides coordination between the US Attorney's and other components of the DOJ or other federal agencies.
