HR Specialist (Classification)

Seeking an experienced Classification and Position Management Specialist to serve as a Subject Matter Expert and advisor. This role involves providing complex classification services, applying policies, and conducting program analysis across an agency. **Key Responsibilities:** * Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and consultant on Classification and Position Management Programs. * Provide classification services for complex and controversial issues, practices, and procedures. * Apply and implement classification standards and policies across the department/agency. * Design and conduct studies and analysis of assigned programs. **Required Qualifications:** * **Experience:** A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level (federal or public/private sector). This experience must demonstrate expertise in: * Serving as an SME/consultant in Classification and Position Management. * Handling complex classification issues and applying relevant standards/policies. * Designing and conducting program studies and analysis. * **Federal Employees:** Must have completed 52 weeks at the GS-12 level (or equivalent) by the closing date. Required SF-50 documentation must be submitted. * **Note:** Your resume must clearly detail how you meet the specialized experience. Education cannot substitute for experience at this grade level.
