Business Communications Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Communications Specialist to lead comprehensive communication projects and manage digital content for a federal environment. This is a full-time, in-person contract position in NW Washington, DC, with an initial duration of 12+ months and potential for up to 4 years. (ONLY US CITIZEN MAY APPLY) **Responsibilities:** * Lead business communication projects from planning to execution. * Manage content on collaboration platforms like SharePoint and TFS. * Create and deliver multi-channel content for web, digital displays, video, print, social media, and mobile apps. * Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint Online, and Office 365 for content production. * Apply content management best practices and communication strategies. * Train and mentor team members on content management and communication tools. * Perform comprehensive proofreading, editing, and quality assurance reviews. **Qualifications:** * **10+ years** experience in business communications and content management, including leadership of large-scale projects. * Hands-on expertise with **SharePoint, Team Foundation Server (TFS)**, and collaboration platforms. * Proven ability to produce high-quality, **multi-channel content** (web, mobile, print, social). * Proficiency in **Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365**, and digital publishing tools. * In-depth understanding of content management and business communication principles, especially in enterprise or federal settings. * Demonstrated experience **training staff** on content management systems and best practices. * Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with advanced proofreading and editing abilities. **Job Details:** * **Location:** NW Washington, DC 20551 (In-person) * **Duration:** 12+ Months (potential extension up to 4 years) * **Pay:** $50.00 - $70.00 per hour * **Job Type:** Full-time, Contract * **Citizenship:** **ONLY US CITIZEN MAY APPLY.**
