Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (LER) Deputy Chief

This role seeks a highly experienced Labor and Employee Relations specialist to provide expert guidance and leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** * Serve as a senior labor and employee relations specialist, advising executive leadership on union contract interpretation, disputes, grievances, and other contractual matters. * Supervise subordinate supervisors overseeing operational units with agency-wide impact. * Review, interpret, and ensure compliance of labor and employee relations policies and agreements with applicable federal and state regulations. * Coordinate with other human resource functions and higher organizational levels to resolve complex and sensitive problems, including those involving potential conflicts of law. **Required Qualifications:** * One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, equipping you with the skills to successfully perform the duties described. * **Federal Employees:** Must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade (GS-14) or equivalent grade band. **Application & Experience Details:** * Your resume must clearly highlight relevant, significant experience and qualifications, detailing specific duties for each work history entry. * All qualifying experience, including paid and unpaid/volunteer work (e.g., National Service programs), is considered and should be clearly documented.
