Software Engineer Front End Developer

Join our team as a Front-End Software Developer, supporting critical process improvement and system development initiatives. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires an active Secret Security clearance or higher. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform front-end design and development, creating technical drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation. * Implement and optimize Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) and UI elements for improved user experience. * Optimize system navigation and facilitate ease of use for user-facing feature development. * Apply analytical skills for process improvement, specialized studies, and defining requirements. * Conduct analysis, planning, and development of requirements documents, functional models, and procedures. * Prepare, conduct, and document systems tests to verify operability and compliance. **Required Qualifications:** * **Clearance:** Active Secret Security clearance or higher. * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's may substitute for 2 years experience). * **Experience:** * 7+ years in object-oriented and scripted software development, with experience in DevSecOps, microservices, and containers. * 3+ years of recent front-end web design and development. * 3+ years with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira), testing web-based applications, and participating in software development programs. * 5+ years with Jenkins and GitLab. * Practical experience developing in a cloud environment and integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments. * Demonstrated experience in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards. * Experience generating system wireframes and mockups for multiple user personas. * Proficiency in UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision). * 5+ years with at least five of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube. **Travel:** Occasional paid travel to San Antonio, Texas or Baltimore, Maryland may be required.
