Software Engineer Front End Developer

Join our team as a Front-End Software Developer, focusing on intuitive user interfaces and robust web applications. This role supports process improvement and requires strong analytical and technical skills. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and develop front-end interfaces, including mockups, wireframes, and technical drawings. * Implement and optimize Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) and system navigation for enhanced user experience. * Lead user-facing feature development, ensuring operator ease of use. * Conduct and document system tests, verifying operability and compliance. * Contribute to functional architectures and requirements definition. **Required Qualifications:** * **Clearance:** Active Secret Security Clearance or higher. * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a related field. * **Experience:** * 7+ years in object-oriented and scripted software development, utilizing DevSecOps, microservices, and containers. * 3+ years recent front-end web design and development experience. * Demonstrated experience in agile, user-centric application design, and UI/UX standards. * Experience generating wireframes and mockups for various user personas. * Practical experience developing in a cloud environment. * Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments. * **Tools & Technologies:** * 3+ years with Jira (bug tracking). * 3+ years testing web-based applications. * 5+ years with Jenkins and GitLab. * 5+ years with at least five of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube. * Experience with UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision). **Work Environment:** * This position is contingent upon contract award. * Remote work is possible, with occasional paid travel to San Antonio, TX, or Baltimore, MD, client sites.
