Seeking an IT Specialist to review cybersecurity policy, develop cyber strategy, and analyze risk for a federal agency.
## IT Specialist (Policy and Planning/Infosec)

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be critical in developing and maintaining robust cybersecurity postures and ensuring policy compliance across the agency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Review and assess organizational cybersecurity policies.
* Contribute to the development of comprehensive cyber strategies.
* Analyze noncompliance issues to accurately determine agency risk levels and overall security posture.
**Required Experience & Competencies:**
* **Specialized Experience:** A minimum of one year of experience directly related to cybersecurity policy review, cyber strategy development, and risk analysis from noncompliance.
* **Demonstrated IT-Related Competencies (through experience):**
* **Attention to Detail:** Thorough and conscientious in all work, ensuring accuracy.
* **Customer Service:** Ability to assess needs, provide information, resolve issues, and deliver quality service to various stakeholders.
* **Oral Communication:** Effectively express complex information, make clear presentations, and listen attentively to others.
* **Problem Solving:** Identify problems, evaluate solutions, and make sound recommendations based on accurate information.
