Job Description

Support American University Athletics' digital media efforts, creating content and assisting with events, ideal for FWS-eligible AU students.
Join American University Athletics as a part-time Athletics Communications Student Employee, gaining valuable experience in intercollegiate sports media. This role is ideal for currently enrolled AU students with a Federal Work Study Award who are available nights and weekends (approx. 10 hours/week). You will contribute to promoting all sports programs through diverse tasks, preparing you for a career in athletics communications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist with live game statistics and event tracking. * Create in-game media, including score graphics and social media highlights. * Update sports records and organize athletic photography. * Write engaging content: game previews/recaps, student-athlete bios, and feature stories. * Conduct historical research and maintain the AUEagles.com website. **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled American University student. * Must have a Federal Work Study (FWS) Award. * Availability for night and weekend shifts. **Compensation:** $17.95 - $18.50 per hour.
